When the Soul Starts to Bloom

There is a specific kind of magic that happens in early April.

The morning light starts sticking around a little longer. The birds are suddenly much noisier. And if you look closely at the ends of the branches, those tiny, stubborn green buds are finally starting to win the battle against the frost.

In my own life, I’ve noticed that when the earth starts to wake up, my soul wants to wake up, too. I start craving a "spring cleaning" that has nothing to do with my closets and everything to do with my heart. I want to feel that same sense of renewal, growth, and vibrant life that I see happening in the world around me.

But let’s be honest: life doesn’t usually slow down just because the flowers are blooming. Between school schedules, work deadlines, and the general hum of a busy home, it’s so easy to let the most beautiful liturgical season of the year pass us by in a blur of to-do lists. We want to be "well-watered gardens," but most days, we feel a little more like sun-scorched soil.

That is exactly why I am so excited to share something I’ve been working on for you: The Spring Devotional.

A 90-Day Journey from the Tomb to the Fire

For the first time, I’ve brought together the daily devotionals for April, May, and June 2026 into one complete journey. This isn’t just a collection of readings; it’s a roadmap for your heart.

I wanted to create a space where we could walk through the most powerful "arc" of our faith together.

  • We start in April, walking the heavy but hopeful road of Holy Week, through the silence of Holy Saturday, and into the world-changing joy of the Resurrection.
  • We move into May, leaning into the nurturing heart of the Blessed Mother and learning what it means to find interior refreshment during the busiest weeks of the season.
  • And we finish in June, inviting the fire of Pentecost to stir our spirits and learning to walk with a "holy boldness" that only comes from the Spirit.

Finding the Extraordinary in the Ordinary

I truly believe that God doesn't just live in the big, mountaintop moments. He is in the carpool line. He is in the mid-afternoon "slump." He is in the quiet dishes at the end of a long day.

Every single day in this 90-day devotional follows a rhythm designed to fit into your actual, beautiful, messy life:

  • A Word from Truth: A Scripture verse to anchor your mind before the world starts shouting.
  • A Personal Reflection: Thoughts that bridge the gap between ancient faith and modern womanhood (think of it as a daily "me too" from a friend).
  • An Action Step: A small question or activity to help you take that faith off the page and into your living room.

Small Choices, Big Growth

One of my favorite entries in the collection reminds us that "faithfulness is not a sprint; it is ninety days of small choices compounded into a life." That is the heart behind the Spring Devotional. You don't need two hours of silence a day to grow. You just need a few intentional minutes to sink your roots back into the Vine.

Whether you’re a morning person with a steaming mug of coffee or a night owl who prays by the light of a bedside lamp, these entries are meant to meet you exactly where you are.

Join the Journey

I would love for you to join me this season. Let’s commit to not just watching the world wake up this spring, but letting God wake up our souls, too.

You can find the full Spring Devotional HERE. Let’s make April, May, and June a season of deep roots and beautiful blooms.
