It’s time for One Book July 2019!
For those of you who don’t know, last year I joined the team of organizers for the One Book July challenge. This is now the 6th year of the challenge and it is still going strong.
Every year the challenge is a little different but it is ultimately meant to help everyone in the planner community be more effective in their planning process.
This year the challenge is to read and follow the principles in “The Bullet Journal Method” by Ryder Carroll.
Bullet Journaling has been around for several years now and the concept has grown beyond the original method. Many people develop elaborate spreads, doodles, etc in their journal. While this can make an interesting notebook, many people who wish to start with this method end up getting intimidated by “all the pretty” and believe they can’t do it because they don’t have the artistic ability or time to draw out these fancy spreads.
The original bullet journal has nothing to do with fancy…… The book goes into great detail explaining the method and helping us learn how to be more intentional about how we spend our time.
I highly recommend reading this book… You can find it on Amazon or Audible.
You can watch the video below to see how I have set up my system for the month of July…. I’m still using my digital planner to document and track all of my challenges. I also enjoy using my digital planner as my diary.
You can see all the videos related to the challenge on the One Book July dedicated YouTube channel.
Also, don’t forget to subscribe my channel to get all of my updates!
Watch the videos and join the challenge this year…. You just might surprise yourself!
If you are curious about the digital planner I’m using right now (the one in the video) then this is it:
